Mercedes EQS SUV is considered a high-clearance electric variant of the EQS sedan version that has been on sale since October 2022. Overall, the EQS SUV is not as imposing as the GLS gasoline version . The car has dimensions of length x width x height of 5,130 x 1,955 x 1,727 mm. The EQS SUV shares the same wheelbase as the EQS sedan at 3,200 mm, but is 198 mm taller.

EQS follows the soft design typical of the German brand. The car body surface is all rounded with no dead corners. The steering wheel is covered with 3D three-pointed star logos. The version sold in Vietnam is equipped with the AMG Line package, so it has sporty front and rear bumpers.

The battery installed on the Mercedes EQS SUV has a capacity of 108.4 kWh, giving a range of 513-616 km after each charge. With an 11 kW (3-phase) charger, the car takes more than 11 hours to fully charge the battery. Two electric motors mounted on the front and rear axles produce a total capacity of 442 horsepower and 828 Nm of torque.

Mercedes Vietnam representative said that the car is sold with a 1.7 kW portable charger priced at 20 million VND using a 220 V household power source. With a home charging station priced at 70 million VND, customers can charge with a capacity of 7. 4 kW (single phase power) and 11 kW (3 phase power). 22 kW DC fast charging is expected to be available by the company in mid-2024.

The vehicle has a driver assistance package with adaptive cruise control, active lane keeping assist and blind spot assist, active stop and move assist, active steering assist, active brake assist. ... With a selling price of 4,999 billion VND, Mercedes EQS SUV is currently the most expensive electric high-rise model in Vietnam. The two models Audi e-tron priced at 2.97-3.2 billion VND and BMW iX3 priced at 3.499 billion VND are both in the lower segments.
