Trump declares 'making history'


Donald Trump celebrated his victory in front of supporters in Florida, declaring that he had "overcome obstacles that no one thought could be overcome."


After being confirmed by several media outlets that he had won the election, Donald Trump gave a speech lasting about 25 minutes to his supporters in Florida. As he entered the hall with his extended family, the song “ God Bless America” was played, and the audience enthusiastically chanted “USA, USA!”

At the beginning of his speech, Mr. Trump thanked his supporters. "We made history," he said, emphasizing that he had "overcome obstacles that no one thought could be overcome."

Trump pledged to "heal" and "bring back the glory days" to America. He praised MAGA (Make America Great Again) as the "unprecedented, greatest political movement of all time."

He stressed that he would repay his supporters by doing the best job he could. "We will do everything we can to make change. This day will be remembered as the American people took back control of our country," Trump said.

He commented that the task ahead is not simple, but he will devote all his energy and spirit to the job. "I will run the government simply, keep my word. Nothing can stop me from doing that," Trump said.

Trump praised his running mate JD Vance, saying his decision to pick his running mate was "obviously the right choice." He also spent much of his speech praising billionaire Elon Musk, who has pumped more than $100 million into the campaign, as a "star" and "super genius."

Mr Trump said the Republican Party had expanded its base to include groups that traditionally vote Democratic. "We have voters from every group, union, non-union, African-American, Hispanic, Asian, Arab, Muslim. We have everyone. It's fantastic. It's historic change," he said.

Trump did not mention his opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris. After finishing his speech, Trump left to the sound of YMCA music , which has become a trademark at his rallies.
