Launched a pair of 5G smartphones with 160MP camera, luxurious design


After much speculation, the Honor 80 Pro and Honor 80 duo were officially launched with a 160MP main camera, 66W fast charging.
Recently, Honor held a big two-day launch event in China, introducing the MagicOS 7.0 interface version and three new phones.

In it, Honor 80 Pro and Honor 80 bring 160MP main camera as well as Qualcomm chip and curved edge OLED screen. Honor 80 SE is the most affordable product, running Dimensity 900 chip and owning 64MP main camera.

Honor 80 Pro is equipped with the best configuration in the new trio of smartphones . The phone is integrated with a 6.78-inch curved edge OLED screen with a resolution of 2700 × 1224 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The screen has 10-bit color with a “pill” cutout – houses a speaker, a 50MP selfie camera, and a 2MP depth measurement module.

Honor 80 Pro.

The Honor 80 has a slightly smaller edge curved 6.67-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2400×1080 px and the same 120Hz refresh rate. However, the device only has a single 32MP selfie camera in the "punched" detail.

Honor 80 Pro integrates Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, while Honor 80 offers Snapdragon 782G chip with lower performance.

Regarding the camera, both Honor 80 Pro and Honor 80 share the same 160MP main camera, using a 1/1.56-inch image sensor with f/1.8 aperture, capable of 16:1 pixel binning. Honor also brings an improved Image Engine with scene optimization, skin detection, and an upgraded AI RAW algorithm. In addition, the machine also has an AI Vlog mode that integrates advanced controls for videos.

In addition to the 160MP main camera, the Honor 80 Pro also has a 50MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP depth sensor. On the other hand, the Honor 80 has an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP depth sensor.

Both phones launch the Android 12-based MagicOS 7 user interface and pack a 4,800 mAh battery with 66W fast wired charging. Honor 80 Pro and Honor 80 are available in black, green, blue, and pink colors.

Honor 80 Pro has a starting price of 3,499 yuan ($490 - VND 12.17 million) for the 8GB RAM / 256GB ROM version and 4,099 yuan ($573 - VND 11.75 million) for the 12GB RAM version / ROM 512GB.

Honor 80 is priced from 2,699 yuan (US$377 – VND 9.36 million) for the 8GB RAM / 256GB ROM version while the 12GB RAM / 512GB ROM version costs 3,299 yuan ($460 – 11.42). million dong).

The Honor 80 SE starts at 2,399 Yuan (US$335 – VND 8.23 ​​million) and offers a 6.67-inch curved edge OLED display with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The 10-bit display also supports 1920Hz PWM dimming and there's a 32MP selfie camera in the "punch" cut.

At the back, the device has a 64MP main camera with a 5MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP macro camera. Honor 80SE is powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 900 chip and 4,600mAh battery with 66W fast wired charging.

Honor 80 SE is available in black, crystal, blue and pink colors. Customers have been able to pre-order the product in China, the "on shelves" is expected on December 9.
