Features only available on iPhone 15 "rich people"

The iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Ultra are nearly a year away from being released, but there's no shortage of rumors detailing Apple's plans for the upcoming devices.
With what happened on the iPhone 14, Apple shows that it will have a new strategy for new high-end iPhones, in which the high-end version always integrates exclusive features that the models usually cannot bring. Next year's high-end iPhone 15 series will do the same thing, and a lot of reports have mentioned the exclusive feature coming only to these more expensive models. Here are such features.

Chip A17 Bionic

Like the iPhone 14 series, next year's iPhone will adopt a dual-chip strategy. The new 3nm A17 Bionic SoC will be equipped on the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Ultra, while the A16 Bionic powering the iPhone 14 Pro will likely be used on the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus.

Increase RAM

A recent report from TrendForce indicates that the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Ultra may have 8 GB RAM instead of 6 GB. More expensive iPhones may require more memory to handle some advanced features. Speed test comparisons have shown that the chip used on the iPhone 14 has no match, but RAM can be the problem. As for the standard iPhone 15 models, they can come with 6 GB RAM like their predecessors.

USB-C is faster

All iPhone 15 models are expected to feature a USB-C port instead of Lightning. Apple has confirmed that it plans to comply with the EU bill, which requires smartphones to come with USB-C for charging, but the company has never admitted to doing so next year.

Famous analyst Ming-chi Kuo recently said that the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Ultra will feature a USB-C port that supports fast data transfers (USB 3.2 or Thunderbolt 3), but cheaper models will only have the speed Compatible with Lightning's USB 2.0.

Periscope zoom

Apple will also differentiate between the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Ultra models. One unique feature of the Ultra may be the periscope lens intended to improve the zooming experience on the iPhone. In this case, the iPhone 15 could be Apple's first to come with a periscope zoom feature, albeit only on the more expensive Ultra model.

Camera selfie picture?

A recent report says that the iPhone 15 Ultra also has a better selfie camera experience than the smaller Pro. The most expensive iPhone 15 model is said to have dual cameras on the front. If the leak is accurate, this will be the first thing to come to the iPhone.

Solid State Buttons

Kuo said that the high-end iPhone 15 models will have solid power and volume buttons, similar to the Touchpad on MacBooks. Apple is getting closer to a portless and buttonless iPhone design, so it makes sense. The solid-state button design will make the iPhone waterproof instead of just water-resistant.

Titanium case

The iPhone 14 Pro models have a stainless steel frame between the front and back glass. The metal frame looks great, but it also makes the phone much heavier. One way to reduce weight without sacrificing durability is to switch to titanium. Apple has used a titanium case on the Apple Watch Ultra, and a leaked source says that Apple wants to make the iPhone 15 Ultra out of titanium.

The above are the exclusive features of the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Ultra at the moment, but importantly all are just rumors. No confirmation has yet been made, and things will only become clearer when iPhone 15 production begins.
